FORESTER I (CONTRACT POSITION) TRIBAL FORESTRY The successful applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry or a Bachelor of Science degree in the science field with at least 24 semester hours in forestry. At least six (6) months of field forestry experience at the technician or professional level is required, so as to demonstrate field readiness in the use and application of basic forestry tools and techniques. Must possess a State of Montana driver’s license at the time of hire and possess throughout employment. BIA requirement of employee adherence to all responsibilities under the Department of Interior (DOI) Motor Vehicle Operator Policy. In order to function as fire overhead, a current red card must be updated and an annual physical must be submitted. FORESTER II (CONTRACT POSITION) FORESTRY DEPARTMENT The successful applicant must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry with at least 24 semester hours in forestry. In order to function as fire overhead, a current red card must be secured and an annual physical must be submitted. Proficient in the use of forestry tools such as hand compass, clinometers, global positioning equipment (GPS), prisms, altimeters, land survey equipment, relascopes, range finders, and data recorders. SPIRIT SOAR PSYCHIATRIC PROVIDER TRIBAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT Location Varies RE-ADVERTISED DUE TO SHORTAGE OF APPLICANTS The successful applicant must possess a specialized knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of Psychiatric Mental Health obtained through the successful completed course of study as a psychiatrist MD or P.M.H.N.P. START Family Mentor DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT The family mentor will serve as a team member in planning, supporting, and implementing strategies to develop a safe, nurturing, and stable living situation for families with substance use disorders (SUD). The family mentor will serve as a team member of the Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Team (START) program, whos goal is to reduce the number of children entering out-of-home care by providing stronger services and support to the family, as well as reduce the rate of children re-entering care. Candidate must have strong communication skills, and display good listening skills, demonstrate the ability to be self-reflective, ability to work independently and in potentially stressful situations, ability to transport START parents to SUD treatment, medical, education, social services, and mental health appointments, ability to connect START parents with recovery support and meetings, and maintain case history records and prepare reports. Minimum Qualifications: High School Degree, GED, or equivalent, minimum of two years sobriety, experience as a former child welfare client with prior SUD history and treatment and experience as a parent advocate/family mentor in any system preferred.
