PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORThe City is seeking a talented and dynamic Public Works Director to perform a variety of complex supervisory, administrative and professional work in planning, organizing, directing and supervising the Public Works Department including water, sewer, street, facilities, parks and other public works projects or programs. The Public Works Director reports to the City Manager and serves as a key member of the City’s management team. This position leads the City’s Public Works Department consisting of 13 FTE. The successful candidate will have a strong public works background, demonstrated leadership skills, high integrity, project management experience, knowledge of MT Public Works Standards and department level financial management proficiency. The starting salary range for the Public Works Director is $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and education.
